32. Distraught with numbness A young woman, finally admitted to her physically abusive, threatening father, who had the entire family terrified. Her only life wish was to get her mom away from her dad. On a particular visit, sitting quietly, she gently wept. We talked, then invited her mom for a Visit of 4 hours. The mom moved out! With her daughter!  [daughter---8-10 visits. mom--4 hours]

33. Parkinson's Disease- beginning to double over with her body shaking, in need of her medications. After her session, when softly dismounting, she stood slowly upright, uncurling her body, to stand straight up, without ANY trembling, or shaking. Her arms were relaxed at her sides. I was informed two days later, -she did NOT NEED her medications --until 3 days later -after her session. This woman was a practicing chiropractor, before being effected by Parkinson's. She was 'amazed' at the results of a one/half hour session! ---Unfortunately, she lived 3 hours away.

34.  Pain released-- After a fall that badly bruised the lower back, this individual only wanted to ride for 15 minutes, due to fears of the pain, and making it worse.  Talking this client into recognizing her body behavior and memories, and discussing the 'blockage' that is created by this fear, we rode for 1 1/2 hours.  The pain, and the personal anxiety was gone, much to the surprise of the client!

35. Years of pain, released! A young woman who was totally bottled up, like being in a paper bag she wanted to burst out of, but knew the comfort of --where she was. Wanting to connect to her horse, that she said was difficult, we started with warm words, to re-unite them, quietly. The short quick response from her horse shook her to tears.  Then a talk, under the umbrella, pushed another button.  The tears, ran down her face.  She was 'ready' to get this out.

Day 3.  Several slow attempts to ride at a walk, on her horse, pushed her to near frantic.  She was near fainting, even after only a few steps. Tears, shed yet another layer!  Another 30 steps, and a repeat of the trauma, and tears. Quiet talk, and quiet, needed for assurance there would be no laughter or expectations, or criticism.  4 more layers dropped, the 4 more layers of tears, hunger to be shed. This was a very strong willed young woman, who now, looked like another person, relaxed, and warm, appreciating the comfort of companionship, during her 'washing away' of past memories, and un-resolved issues.

Day 4.  We went to the park, and then discovered the equal trauma of her horse who was previously described as difficult.  He too was traumatized, by past memories, and treatment.  Watching the two, walk together through the pine-woods, was a delight to my eyes, as they both made amends for past treatment, from and by others.  There was now a deeper meeting of the minds.  The veil of expectations was dropped!  What was left exposed, were two beings, who craved the same thing.  Kindness, Acceptance, Un-Conditional Love, and a Partnership in this new and exciting sharing of their cherished moments.  The rest will be easy!  Support, and a reminder to not expect the worse, and to invite the cooperation they both seek.

Her words to me, give reason to continue --'Against All Odds'.  Her words, reflected that 'my prayers --have already been answered!'  Rose M. Foreman
