Our letter to the Parkinsons Disease Foundation Jan 26, 2011
During
1998-99, when I started 'Our Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship ' as a -- -anization, in
She was bent over, hands up to her chin, and gently trembling.
This woman was a chiropractor by profession, and had to quit
due to her disease.
I have been a very sensitive person with an interesting background,
and a life study of people with horses and what happens between the
two, as in behavior, emotional issues, human control, body issues
etc.
I immediately felt 'the need' --when listening to her tell of her
disease, and asked a favor of her.
I just wanted her to climb a ladder to get on this large horse,
bareback, and continued to do a few exercises, talk, etc.
She could not stay up and on the horse for longer than 25 minutes,
due to her lean body.
She had difficulty, and also needed our help to dismount.
When her feet finally hit the ground, she slowly started to uncurl
her body, drop her arms, and slowly stood straight up with arms
dropped at her side. No trembling. There was confusion on her face
and all she could say was "I'll be damn".
They called to let me know she did not need medications until after
the third day.
I have been on this private study for some time, and wish to make
contact with Parkinson groups, to give and seek more help for those
in need.
I have been held up in this entire process since 2000, having
difficulty finding that proper facility, and trying to understand
what God had in mind for us.
The past 10 years has been spent documenting, and
re-structuring our work, including a curriculum for new Our Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship Consultants [volunteer].
I am now in a rural area in
We also need guidance for funding possibilities, to work with more
individuals who we could possibly help.
