FIRST! A counselor from New York, who heard of us, by word of mouth, called to speak to me, -stating: "Rose, I have a friend. He wears sandals, and He has twelve friends. I think Rose, that he has found yet another friend!" Then --
As Joseph said:
"Rose, -good works, in the beginning, is like a hunk of clay, for the potter! You first have to pound on it, punch it, poke at it, and then work it until it gets just right to work it into the shape you want it to be" He then said, " I would ask my God -Why God, does this have to be so much work?" Then I spoke out with' -"To develop character". This man also stated that, -"The mental health profession is getting stale, and the thought of your program, and what you are doing, gives me goose bumps" Then he said, "Every time I think about your program it brings tears to my eyes"
FROM ROSE...Being on a cutting edge is a very lonely place to be. Until the program becomes recognized --you are alone with your work. You either are accepted as new and wonderful, and you keep on moving in your study, or your recourses run out. If they do, you just pick up the important pieces of broken clay, you water them down, and you continue to move forward, this time, thinking more of yourself, letting the others pick up the remaining smaller pieces -IF they have the same courage and fortitude to do so!
So many wait for the water-way to break, so their intended passage will be easier. I know where every piece fits, and still have a lot of work to do.
The razor sharp edge we walk on IS WORTH IT. The work will soon become known, widely accepted as normal. We're walking that edge, where ALL the work begins, until it's Right with God.
You cannot add to the peace and good will of the world if you fail to
create an atmosphere of harmony and love right where you live and
work. -- Thomas Dreier
