Our Beginnings
As a PILOT Program in 1997, we were working with another
species (the 'natural' horse), who gives great
insight into our being, while helping us to recognize and change our behavior through
education, and learning experiences, with positive
results.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS.
We have worked with
individuals, self referred, or from Community
Service Agencies, therapists, concerned
families, and friends. A major issue for many
individuals seeking our services, and
participating in our programs, was the lack of funds. The founder of
Horse Holiday org. has been working with dedication, to organize
this program for community participation, to
help people in difficult situations.

LEG-UP --to someone in need, improving
the 'quality of life' to one individual, or an entire
family. Within
2-8 sessions, Horse Holiday org. has helped individuals & families, have more control
over their lives, and behavior. Their experiences
helped improve
relationships, raise
self esteem, correct unwanted behavior, gain self worth, life skills, and learn to
smile & laugh again. Finances from
clients, were
usually quite limited --due to circumstance,
medical &/or therapeutic expenses.
Now, SPONSORSHIP
will also'focus' on DEVELOPING NEW
CONSULTANTS for the 'therapeutic alternative' work.
It is absolutely
necessary that many more receive training to do this innovative work.
We leave that choice to the donor.

Since 2000, we became aware of the need to document a cirriculium for training purposes, as well as seperating the website content --for simplicity, into two entities, being HH Org and Soft Touch Quantum Horsemanship [STQH],and this would become the focus of the founders work, until
2005. Through this process, it became clear, the founder must also continue to practice in the actual work with clients, so the location search had to continue, until
we were divinely directed to our current facility in Central Pa, where we then discovered the seminar at the United Nations --in
September of 2007, on Near Death Experiences [NDE], and this, once again --opened another huge door for us. Now it became clear that the founder's NDE has been the grounding influence of our work, so again, yet another arm of our programming had to be seperated from Horse Holiday Org. --for more simplification, and a better explanation, for understanding as to the 'why' of our work, and our foundation background.
Since August 20, 2000, we had to place the actual work with clients on HOLD!
We were almost ready to begin our work with clients, and offered some
pro bono work in 2007 --to help get started in this entirely new area, being Central Pa..
